Londa

Londa is an ancient graveyard 7km south of Rantepao. Here coffins are placed in a cave in the mountain. Tau Tau wooden statues at the cave entrance represent the deceased and guard over the dead. Coffins are inside the various cave chambers, sometimes stacked over each other. In some cave chambers, human skulls are placed on the rock. Because the cave is not illuminated, a torchlight is needed to visit it.
