The village of Kete Kesu is perhaps the main tourist attraction of Tana Toraja. Located 4km southeast of Rantepao among the rice fields, it consists of two rows of Tongkonan houses built with traditional materials. Behind the houses, a trail leads up the rock wall, where coffins hang from the cliff. These are estimated to be 500 years old. Human skulls and bones are on display above the coffins.
